Probiotics – Neuralli MP

I have not been compensated in any way for this post.

If you haven’t caught the latest research on probiotics and PD, you can check some out here. Based on the research, which suggests some benefits of the probiotic known as Lactobacillus Planatarum (PS 128), I went on the hunt for a version to try. Given that the studies included participants taking 60 billion CFU of PS128 daily, I didn’t find many products that fit the bill. However, I did find Neuralli MP from Bened Life. Here’s the website.

Bened Life bills Neuralli MP as a gut-brain medical probiotic designed for individuals with neurological or mental health conditions, such as Autism (ASD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD). It contains the strain Lactobacillus plantarum PS128, which is clinically studied to help manage mood, movement, and cognitive function.

Key Aspects of Neuralli MP from Bened Life:

1. Probiotic Strain: Contains 60 billion CFUs (per 2 capsules) of L. plantarum PS128, designed to balance dopamine and serotonin levels.

2. Usage: Intended for daily use (2 capsules) under the supervision of a healthcare provider, and can be taken with or without food.

3. Administration: Capsules can be swallowed whole or opened and mixed into cold food/drinks.

4. Target Conditions: Specifically targets neurodiverse individuals (ASD) and those with neurodegenerative conditions (PD).

5. Storage: Needs to be kept refrigerated to maintain potency.

I’ve only been taking Neuralli MP for three days, and I have nothing positive or negative to say about the product yet. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: I just received an email from Bened Life about what to expect in my first month. Of note, it read, “Anytime you make a big change to your diet or add a new probiotic, it’s possible your gut may need some time to adjust. You may experience gas, bloating, or stool consistency changes as you start taking Neuralli MP. Any GI upset should be mild and should subside within a few days to a week. If you experience an allergic reaction or gut issues that don’t resolve on their own, stop taking Neuralli MP and consult your health care provider.” The email also stated, “Some people notice that the effects of Neuralli MP are subtle and build over time.”
